Everything Remains Raw: A Historical Perspective on Hip Hop Dance investigates the deep-structure and Afro-Kinetic memory present in dance practices throughout the African Diaspora, by illuminating an assortment of influential cultural phenomena that helped construct and characterize the movement practices demonstrated in America’s Afro-Latinx communities and the globalization of their aesthetic values.

Following the documentary Everything Remains Raw: A Historical Perspective on Hip Hop Dance, Professor E. Moncell "ill Kozby" Durden is working on a new film currently titled, The Dances that America Made Up and the Dances that Made America.
